The development team has transformed the basement into a recording and podcast studio, and the next phase will bring 21 artist studios and an art gallery to the first and second floors through a partnership with RADIANT HALL.
The Invest PGH loan will fund building improvements, including new and upgraded HVAC and renovations for new first-floor tenants. These improvements will help position the building for increased occupancy and long-term sustainability.
“We build vibrancy in Downtown through partnerships, investment and new ideas,” said City of Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor. “Taglyz II LLC [an affiliate of TGY Partners] is transforming an historic building into a space for art, design, culture and opportunities.”

We're ready for solar! The remediation of this brownfield site in Swisshelm Park is substantially complete. With just a few small items to complete this summer, the URA is preparing to enter into a lease agreement with Capital Good Fund for the construction of a 2MW solar farm on the site.

The grant will pay for 75% of approved project costs, up to $20,000. Examples of eligible facade renovations include painting, storefront lighting, new windows or doors, new or repaired signage, or repaired masonry.
Businesses or property owners with commercial storefronts located in the City of Pittsburgh may apply for reimbursement of eligible improvements.
