I’m fundamentally a quiet, law abiding person. I’m in reality far gentler than my posts here might sometimes suggest. But if our cis overlords want to make life impossible for us then the only sensible response is 100% non-compliance. I will not assist in my own segregation!

The only phrase that springs to mind to describe the events of the last two days is “Et tu, Brute?”. I can’t see any way to redeem them and their continued use of the name Stonewall is an insult!

I can’t stand coffee - it smells nice, but the taste……. Tea is a bit better but in truth I’d rather just drink water! I can see the Yorkshire lass who doesn’t like tea thing raising eyebrows though 🤣

I have her blocked here because of the whole YourParty fiasco, but the PM should be called out for such brazen conduct and suspending her for speaking the plain and self evident truth seems excessive even though it broke the old boy‘s club rules.

I see the BBC are getting in on the act too with this evening’s panorama. If you replaced every mention of Jewish people with trans people the first couple of minutes of the programme it would still have been 100% true. Except, the BBC don’t like us!

You can’t get a more powerful inditement of Stonewall than this. A supposed LGBT+ charity being complemented by FWS should be the final nail in its coffin. In truth though, it abandoned trans people a long time ago.

I really hope the big Pride events ban Stonewall! They certainly won’t be welcomed if the attend any Trans+ pride events.

Free speech, but only if you’re a bigot! It’ll be fun watching universities trying to stop students protesting, I think they’ll have their work cut out for them…….

After today, im done with socials & walking away from trans stuff.

Politically, we're toast and our legacy LGBT & Trans orgs are functionally & strategically inept.

Im just gonna get on with things as best I can, and enjoy being me while I still can.

Behind Labour’s transphobic takeover of Stonewall announced today is likely to be an attempt to bring in a *faux* ban on conversion therapy (torturing people, especially trans kids, to make them straight or cis).

I’m glad I didn’t donate to Stonewall - I had a feeling this was going to happen! They need to be shuttered and replaced by something better. Luckily, we have some very good trans+ orgs.

It’s usually the obsolescence caused by the OS updates that kills smart devices. It would be good if OS security updates were mandated for 10 years too - on iPhones these can be available for as little as 5-7 years currently.

It would be a very brave Stonewall rep that turned up at a trans+ pride after today.

A luxurious position to be in - in which case, give them hell for the rest of us 😀

It depends what you‘re looking to achieve given you won’t be working there anymore. Bear in mind that an employer can give a bad reference provided it’s fair and accurate, and given a tribunal would rule on that if challenged it isn’t going the trans person’s way! I’d keep it short and factual.

I’m very good at leading people at work, but that’s in an engineering environment. I don’t have the charitable sector knowledge and skills to organise anything like this. As you say, there are others here that do though.

I’m glad our AI overlord cleared that up for us! It was an easy mistake to make when the two of them look, sound and act identically and share the same life………. If I hadn’t been told by an obscenely rich cis person in the media that AI is wonderful I’d assume it was talking nonsense agin!

The sooner we replace them the better! There are plenty of good trans+ organisations out there far more deserving of our support.
