Young grads are desperate for relevant field experience, but this is the kind of stuff out there. This is especially bad since these days, not even a masters degree will guarantee employability, so people are even more desperate to acquire an edge over other candidates. Simply exploitative and gross

Saw a post on LinkedIn by Conservation Careers titled "experience opportunity - volunteer in costa rica" and I have (a lot) of thoughts. Full time work 5 days a week, not paid and costs 1.1k to go on (not including food or flights). When will these predatory volunteering positions come to an end??
