So sad, terrible day.

Has anybody seen the Toy Story 5 trailer who can tell me if it looks any good? I'm not really inclined to give the movie a chance and my hopes aren't high at all so I don't want to take a peek unless someone says it looks good
Hey @gamesdonequick.com, are you able to provide an ETA for when the schedule for your Disability and Neurodivergency Hotfix event will drop? Or if it has and I just haven't seen it yet? Thanks!
Posting this on Bluesky as well for anyone who doesn't see my Twitter feed anymore
What URL am I supposed to be refreshing again
First minute barrier broken in Pac 'n Roll Remix any% since 2018!!!! Been wanting a time like this for years now and I'm so happy to finally have it. I'm happy with this time for now but will definitely come back to beat it with 5-4 gate skip eventually. ;)
New PnRR Any% WR after 3.5 years, this run lost almost 20 seconds to a death on 4-4 skip but I decided to keep the run going and ended up getting a small PB in the end. 21 is definitely happening soon, and I can't wait for it :)
I wish I could find fanfiction for The Genius Files anywhere but I simply cannot
Setting aside the misconception that was corrected after this thread was posted, I figured I'd leave this here: bsky.app/profile/supe...
(And to be fair to Milo, I shouldn't have brought this up in the first place or been as cringe as I was. But that doesn't excuse his response to me either.)
I don't normally do this, but here's a screenshot of some private DMs between me and Milo from February 2019 (just before the 246 relay race). I'm not posting this to put him on the spot or accuse him of anything, I just want this out there for people to see and form their own opinions on.
...all while hiding behind the veil of professionalism. Otherwise, I foresee a future where this kind of conflict--the wider speedrunning community vs. those who want to use speedrunning for monetization--only getting worse as time goes on, whether it be because of GSA or not.
Unfortunately, it appears as though I wasn't.
I do not wish any harm--personal, financial, or physical--on Milo or anybody who still supports GSA. But I feel there are several things Milo needs to take proper accountability for, rather than making excuses and throwing other people under the bus...
...controlling the narrative when it came to GSA. When you have high level, respected SM64 runners praising GSA for what it does for speedrunning, people tend to buy into it. (Not that I'm assuming any malice on their part, of course.) I saw this back in 2018, but figured I was just wrong.
I think the primary reason people didn't realize any of this about GSA before is because of the other people besides Milo who were involved in handling organization and management. Whether they had good intentions or not, looking back part of me feels like their involvement had the main purpose of..
As much as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I hate to assume negative intentions in these kinds of cases, I have to agree with Suigi on this one. I'm not sure Milo cared about the speedrunning community as much as the bottom line; its potential monetization.
...they had the potential to do many positive things for the community. It's a shame to have to come to terms with the fact that that potential may not have existed at all.
Milo's post announcing the end of PACE, to me, felt like a bunch of gaslighting and emotional manipulation.
...I've become quite disappointed.
I never asked for the cancellation of PACE. When I announced that I was no longer participating in GSA events, I wasn't even asking that anybody join me. Like I said, I wanted GSA to succeed, and despite some mishandlings at the start, I really thought...
(Yes, I am aware of the misconception that was corrected after this thread was posted.)
A couple months back, I made a Twitter thread about my personal feelings on the direction of GSA (x.com/SuperT302/st...), and while I tried to be as charitable as possible, since then... (1/?)
Let's get this bread, fingers crossed that this will be the one :) #SGDQ2025
5 years ago, Nemi's 2:58:39 in SMG2 any% was an impossibly good time that I thought I could never compete with. Fast forward to today, and (mostly thanks to 2P and JPVC lol) my PB is now 10 seconds faster than his.
Let this be a reminder to never underestimate your full potential.๐
Y'know, looking back on it now, I was really cringey during my SGDQ '19 run, it's so hard for me to watch/listen to nowadays lol
Of all the times to finally get a PB in this category, it happened during a marathon run... speedrunning is crazy.
This is basically the exact kind of time I've been looking for, happy to have finally achieved this :D thanks
@rgltv.bsky.social for allowing this to happen!
I have a new Discord server now! Hopefully this way I can finally begin building some kind of community :) (hopefully I set it up properly lol)

Can this post get exactly 13 likes and 5 reposts?
I'm surprised to see SMG1 all the way down in D, ik you never viewed it as highly as the other 602 games but I didn't think it'd be that low for you
Curious question for speedrunners of games that I don't run: what big skips/timesaves currently exist in other speedgames that are technically possible, but are unlikely/infeasible to be attempted in full-game runs?
(no, I'm not looking for SMG2 Prologue Skip answers)
To everyone complaining about the Chiefs, I'm sorry but as a KC native I have to say it:
