Bigger question: why in 2026 is the pdf still a thing? Can we not get a modern version that isn’t a file format owned by a for profit corporation?

I love scheduled summary in notifications for iOS. But I wish there was more granular control. I have most of my apps scheduled, only need a few immediately. But of the scheduled notifications most could just be once a day. I have 4 times setup for summaries. Wish I could pick 1 for some apps.

I wish they’d unbundle it from the SMS app. Make it a rock solid service in its own app.

Just listened to the latest episode. Feel John’s pain re: iMessage bifurcation issues. You never see that in WhatsApp, at least I never have. U want to use iMessage to as much as possible but of all the Apple “Cloud” services these days, it feels like the one that is the least sturdy.

Enough is enough. No more road safety for you. First family who loses a loved one to a speeder in a zone where the cameras were taken down should sue his fat ass.

Anyone else not seeing @nytimes.com The Daily podcast in #OvercastApp ? Like, not seeing anything. No old episodes, or today’s. Did they flip on a paywall option for May 1? Still see it, and episodes, in the Apple Podcast app…

What is means that xAI bought X is that Elon just sold your Twitter & X data to his own AI company.

I feel like this is it. I don’t think he is capable of playing checkers let alone 3D chess. I took a pic of this giant checker board at a cafe to remind myself of this fact, LOL.

Please. Please. He didn’t have to get out of his own way. The cards were in his favour. That headline frames this as if he stood a chance of losing. These shitty takes are why the news business is suffering. More news and facts and far, far less opinion please. Seriously. Opinions aren’t journalism.

I would give my left ball for Apple to make a stand alone iMessage app (one not entwined with SMS or RCS). Sever it from phone numbers too, make as full featured as possible. I feel tying it all together was fine early on, but it’s time to separate it out.

Whatever is coming Ontario, you deserve it long and hard. If I hear any “we’re better than them shit” that’s a throat punch. The privileged ignoring everyone else. That’s the only conclusion I come too. “I have a doctor, tough shit for you if you don’t” as just one example.
