Bigger question: why in 2026 is the pdf still a thing? Can we not get a modern version that isn’t a file format owned by a for profit corporation?

I love scheduled summary in notifications for iOS. But I wish there was more granular control. I have most of my apps scheduled, only need a few immediately. But of the scheduled notifications most could just be once a day. I have 4 times setup for summaries. Wish I could pick 1 for some apps.

I would give my left ball for Apple to make a stand alone iMessage app (one not entwined with SMS or RCS). Sever it from phone numbers too, make as full featured as possible. I feel tying it all together was fine early on, but it’s time to separate it out.
