Gary answered a q re capital flight - basically pointed out that if they own real NZ assets (homes, land, businesses) then those are physically stuck here and we should tax them, no matter where the owner themselves use based.

I saw Gary Stephenson speak tonight and the message was clear... If you want your children to have any chance of owning a home, we must address inequality, and that starts with taxing the wealthy

It's also quite hard to pick up the cat when he's on the other side of the closed door!
