When you self-publish and fill mail orders yourself, you get to see who is buying your publications. Something that never stops feeling great is seeing when other artists you admire order your work—particularly when you didn't know they were interested. It's a reason to be involved in distribution.

I am now streaming this at ~35,000ft cruising altitude ✈️

I find it kinda cool, and I'm kinda proud, that I got to illustrate 5 spreads for Red Bull's Gamepop magazine last summer. And then, they made it even cooler by adding a playable, paper thin Tetris game on the cover...

How AI damaged a friendship A close friend asked me to write the preface for his book. I wrote it myself, then used AI to polish the final version. A few weeks later, he told me he wouldn’t use it.

How AI damaged a friendship.

This was probably the toughest decision I made during the production of my book—asking a friend to write the preface, and choosing not to use it after I recognised AI in his writing.

In the end, it didn't damage our friendship. It strengthened it.

The NoGood Book A monograph bringing together five years worth of NoGood illustration projects, outlining the backdrop for and context within which my work was created.

The NoGood Book is currently being typeset. Besides writing and editting, it's the only part of the production process I can't do myself.

When typesetting is done, there's nothing more to do and it's off to the printer!
