Pep pills are real life military stimulants. I'd imagine Levi being familiar with them too.

4. violence, or maybe intimidation more so is part of getting his way outside the game too
5. latter. Gentleman's dishes are probably mostly real food recipes. A bit odd dishes perhaps, but nothing suggests cannibalism.
1. Maybe without realizing it, but by the time Termina happens he's done with all sides of war
2. He's a lone wolf in that matter. Probably keep to himself within the time frame of Termina
3. I don't necessarily think competitiveness is the reason. Might play a role in that, but not the main reason.
The ending B route will remain the same in gameplay. Just small character specific choices will alter the ending photo and writing. But that seems to be the only way to get out of Prehevil and continue living relatively normal life.
Probably. I like doing artwork, but more detailed stuff like this takes forever to make and I don't always have the luxury to dedicate so much dev time to making single pieces of artwork. Probably with future projects I'll try to have more stuff like this.
Big parts of the mythos is mystery to me too. I've left plenty of room for different stories fill in the blanks. But I've also got foundations of the lore figured out to keep things consistent. So in a way there is a lot more lore than what the games tell.
If you know the story of Termina, you might know what the festival is there for. Not everything is as it seems on the first glance.
yeah sure.
maybe.
Safe to say it's not returning to Termina. It would be a big hassle to get it done right, with different character fusion variations for different character combos. Don't want it to be too low effort. Considering I don't even have all the contestants playable, I don't see the feature making it.
I'm afraid no. I only draw material related to games I'm making. Maybe if some things never see the light of day, I can show them later in time, but not right now. Like most things I've drawn that aren't Termina related are concepts for other projects. Can't reveal them now.
A lore bible would be troublesome. The lore of F&H is trying to be lovecraftian in nature, it's not meant to understood. What I'm trying to achieve with the lore is that you could be decipher pieces of lore and form meaning behind it, but it would otherwise remain largely intangible.
Skits are already there in form of party talk. The update adds more situational party talks too. I don't mind people missing some of them. I actually like the idea that people who just occasionally use party talk get brand new talks even after multiple playthroughs. Replayability.
Yeah it works like that. It's GALV_EventSpawner by Galv - galvs-scripts.com
I think there is a buried layer of bitterness to Henryk's character. I don't think it's something constantly in his head, but maybe those ideas creep up at times.
Glad you've enjoyed F&H :) Permadeath is done with event commands. Although character bodies that appear on ground after they die, those events are summoned with a plugin. In earlier versions of F&H1, they were done 100% with eventing, but for better efficiency a plugin was used.
yeah for sure.
In general turn-based combat like in F&H is a sort of abstraction of combat. Just gotta work with a few different stats to make it understandable. I think the ranged vantage of firearms comes through in these games thanks to the limited overworld shooting mechanics. In those guns can help you a lot.
shotgun and rifle shots obviously trump over most traditional weapons. Mostly talking about weaker pistols.
I never understood why people think guns should be op. A clean sword slash (or stab) across your torso has to be more dangerous than a pistol shot unless that hits a critical point. The reason guns are good in real life combat is because of their reach.
I don't have numbers to prove this one way or another. Maybe someone knowledgeable can do that. But in close quarters fight I imagine a simple bladed weapon is at the very least comparable to firearms in how useful they are.
Hi, I think it makes some sense. Like say, you get shot in arm with that small pistol vs getting your arm chopped off with the bladed tool. Which is more damaging?
1. I guess some cryptic things are told about Pocketcat and Daan too.
2. If I remember correctly Pav does get one more significant scene. I don't know if you really get to know him better, but it does make him more of a bastard.
3. Not in this update at least.
Depends on the in-world religion I guess. I imagine people worship different pantheons in different parts of the world. Maybe some gods are shared, just with different names and different means of worship. The world of F&H would feel very small if it only had a handful of gods.
Not inspired by that. Haven't heard of Preador before this. Coin flip is just coin flip, that's something that's existed since the dawn of time.
Rev up is done with plugin OctoPack Battler by Fallen Angel Olivia. I don't remember on the spot which plugin made extra turns possible, but it's also achieved with a plugin, not the basic rpg maker stuff.
yup
small local live action theatre.
Disturbing is subjective so dunno, but the enemies are really varied. Way more than in vanilla Termina.
Yeah. The game gets more content rich and full. I *could* keep on just adding more and more stuff even after the update. But I'm starting to feel very much done with Termina. This has been going on for way too long. Really eager to start working on something new.
