Both because of the actual parade and because of the juxtaposition of the turn out for #NoKings

Potential flashpoints that were handled amazingly well and had effects in ways unseen (Go ATL!) It shows the impact of #joyfulresistance and #peacefulprotest to have no violence.

This is a coup! U.S. Institute for Peace called the DC police on the Musk team members in an effort to stop them from trespassing because the institute has control of its own building and the land it sits on. But instead, the DC police allowed them to enter and kicked out the institute’s officials.
"Overnight, my research team and I received an email directing us to comply with executive order 14168- "defending women from gender ideology extremism and restoring biological truth to the federal government" As a part of a US government funded research project we have been instructed to remove or correct all previously collected HRS data related to gender and sex. Specifically we have been directed to ensure all participant responses align with permitted categories of "male" "female" or "prefer not to say." We are actively seeking guidance from our local IRB on how to navigate this ethically complex situation. However I feel it is important to share this as a concrete example of how the current geopolitical climate is directly impacting research in the Australian academic community... "

Here we see another example of history that the Trump regime is doing their best to erase. There are so many courageous non-white Americans who made our country what it is today. To attempt to remove them from our collective knowledge dishonors their service and their legacy.
One more thought: I know you all have had live feeds of the protests, but you should work towards a designated live feed person at each state protest too. If they aren't going to cover the protests, we make our own new channel.

You also need to get lawyer representatives at each state protest. The veterans protest in NC this past Friday was shut down by police stating that it was illegal without a permit. Lawyers from the national lawyer guild or @aclu.org would have helped prevent this.
I'm so tired of this "primary out" talk. We need to be working towards legislation for "no confidence."
Schumer needs to be going through a "no confidence" vote right now. Constitutional lawyers, how do you make this happen?
