The way that the TikTok algorithm works, it excells at fostering niche communities. This made it a great place for small business to sometimes hit the jackpot, have a product go viral, and scale up their operations. If they managed it well, they could build a long-term customer base.

Not only has the US government effectively laid off tens of thousands of people who were in the creator fund, losing them either a part-time or full-time income, but a lot of spending was influenced by this app.

It's going to be very difficult to measure the exact economic impact that the TikTok ban is going to have on the United States, but trust that there WILL be one.
