39. Fantastic Mr. Fox (movie, 2009)
I know what it's like to feel... different. Him especially. But there's something kind of fantastic about that, isn't there?

The Fantastic Mr. Fox-10/10
Yeah that was a good movie.
No Notes.
60. Fantastic Mr. Fox (Movie, 2009)
An almost perfect, crisp 90 minutes of pure animated greatness.
That Fox really was fantastic.
59. The Book of Henry (Movie, 2017)
Following up a movie that made me feel nothing to a movie that made me feel everything is very funny.
I don't think I have ever seen something so utterly deranged due to how it shifts tone so often.
It becomes Code Geass, and I'm not even lying.
The most interesting thing the bowser plot gets ruined immediately lmao
I've never seen such a corporate movie, something that was made with such little interest with telling a story. It's an antithesis to art itself.
58. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (Movie, 2026)
Utterly baffling how hollow this movie is. After Wart's scene, it just becomes a mess of jingling keys, cynically and vacuously gesturing at things from the games without even a hint of trying to tell even a competent story.
57. This Music May Contain Hope by RAYE (Album, 2026)
The album is a bit too long and sorta corny, but I respect the ambition RAYE has, and it leads to a really interesting (if plain) story told through her variety of songs. Also, it being framed through a film is very fun flavor.
56. Ikoku Nikki (Anime, 2026)
In contrast to the more bombastic shows of the season, Ikoku Nikku serves a much more lowkey approach to its adaptation. It's a great example to show how much can be done without crazy sakuga, just some great vision and subtlety.
55. Lawnmower Man (Movie, 1992)
Utterly baffling movie that has a lot to say but has none of the skill to go through with it.
That said, perhaps one of the most fascinating movies I've seen in a minute. It just fucking goes for it in a way I just have to respect. Crackhead film for sure.
It leads to an extremely unified vision despite how different each episode is, and leads to a season that has an extremely beautiful and unique experience from the manga, something I value in an adaptation especially with how hard this one goes.
54. Jujutsu Kaisen - Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 (Anime, 2026)
What an incredible and ambitious part.
Goshozono unrestrained vision for JJK goes full blast and its a joy to watch, because of how insane the boards, framing and general direction for the season was.
I'm probably gonna be a lot more fair to this because I'm not a fate fan, and apparently this is fate fanservice in show form, but yeah.
53. Fate/strange Fake (Anime, 2026)
I'm of a view minds of this show, because I thought it had an extremely interesting cast, some stellar direction, and a really interesting ideas, but man it really blurs because of how fast it is, not counting the cuts it has from the books.
Also man, the last episode of the season is actually fucking phenomenally good, and puts one of the cast in an utterly unexpected situation that I am excited to see how it plays out next season.
I also do think this cast is one of the better I've seen in a while, the fellow hero's feel really well developed in both why their heros' but also personalities. I really liked Venetim and Rhyno especially, and I'm excited for Rhyno to do more, utterly facinating character
Xylo is one of ny favorites of the season, a grissled and clearly traumatized man trying to make up for his guilt with Teoritta is so good to see. Teo was sorta annoying at first but I really enjoy their relationship, and how they both grow as people.
52. Sentenced to Be A Hero [S1] (Anime, 2026)
Man, was shocked how much I got into this series.
Aside from having an absolutely insane production, I really dug the world, and how the Hero system is explored with a really enjoyable cast of hyper competent weirdos put in the worst scenario ever.
51. Norman (Manga, 1968)
Another Tezuka Sci-Fi Banger. He's goated for being able to transfer his styles into like every genre and still feel very well realized and fun. It's also a compelling sci fi superhero team show with a lot of cold war era influences so it is just interesting all through
Yeah I think the anime is really great at translating the comedy but also the romance and heart of the series.
Kohori needs to be killed tho.
Also one of the best things for this show is its soundtrack.
Despite the fact some songs are overused at times, the songs themselves are some of the most memorable ive seen in an anime, some actual bangers.
50. Lovely Complex (Anime, 2007)
The anime is a really good adaptation in part because of how great Akemi Okumura and Akira Nagata chemistry is as Risa and Otani.
The comedy in the anime is also great thanks to some really great timing and drawings.
49. Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers [S1] (Anime, 2026)
Feels sorta baffling it's getting a season 2 but honestly I enjoyed this show's characters and i thought Gai was great. I also enjoy that the tone is pretty bleak at times especially for a revival. Fun show, with some funky pacing.
Fox is more of a platform fighter staple than a character in his own game
reinvention for Spidey, what hope does Marvel's decrepit editorial staff.
longer than 24 issues to fully get across. Utterly baffling that Hickman felt fine with the pacing of this series, it almost feels half-hearted.
Its pretty much killed any interest I've had in the future of Spider-Man in the comics. If one of the greats of big 2 books can't have a fully well done
48. Ultimate Spider-Man (Comic Book, 2024-2026)
What started out as one of the most promising reinventions of Spider-Man ended up being extremely rushed due to the monthly nature of NuUlt universe books.
I like a lot of the characters here but it feels like a book in which it's ideas needed much
47. Troll 2 (Movie, 1990)
Came like 30 minutes late to this but I respect our plant JRPG body horror cinema, also that Druid lady is cool as fuck, OC in the making for sure
46. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Movie, 1989)
45. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Movie, 1984)
The best one.
