Dry single-tape PTD diaper
Wet single-tape PTD diaper
Wide-shot of diaper preparation: both lower tapes positioned upward on the interior perpendicular to the top tape
Close up of one prepared diaper tape with the lower tape positioned upward on the interior perpendicular to the top tape
I think I’m onto something with this single-tape method I’ve been using with @ptdropouts.bsky.social! By taping the lower tape upward on the interior perpendicular to the top tape, you get a secure, comfortable fit! I’ve yet to have a leak during day or night using this method for over a week now 😁

It's like an anti-wetness indicator XD "no, no, no, I'm not wet! I promise the diaper was already yellow when I put it on!"

Been dealing with a yucky tummy and head all day, which called for leaving work early, changing into comfy pajamas, and plushie snuggles (obviously the diaper was already there)

“Everybody’s got there stuff.” I spent the whole day worrying about what I was going to say and that’s the first response my friend gave me! And the look of relief and optimism he had when I showed him a NorthShore pull up made all the nerves worth it! Fuck diaper stigma, do what brings you peace ❤️

I have no idea what to expect from this discussion tomorrow or how it will affect my relationship with my friend. But I do know I can’t keep listening to stories of daily laundry and cleanup without at least trying to help! If any of y’all have suggestions or experience with this, I’d love to hear ❤️

I don’t plan on giving more context about myself than needed, but do think it’s necessary to disclose personal use of these products in order to explain my breadth of knowledge on the topic. And at the end of the day, I think them having better incontinence resources is more important than my pride.

I ordered them a pack of @northshoreabdl.bsky.social pull-on diapers as well some other products pictured above to share with them. Their loved one is still mobile so I think pull-ups and leak protection are the best starting points, but tab-style diapers are becoming a consideration for them.

I have a close friend whose partner developed Early Onset Dementia over the past 2 years. I get daily stories of dealing with leaks and blowouts using Depends pull ups. I’ve never had a need to disclose my diaper use, but at this point, it feels dishonest and selfish to not share what I know.

It has been $160 per session for the Full Legs, which is not as bad as I expected for a such large area, but definitely something I have to budget for. I think they said the best long term results take 6 to 9 sessions with increasing time between treatments until it is just once a year by the end

Laser hair removal has been such a gratifying experience :) I found a laser hair specialized med spa and am 2 monthly sessions in. 3 weeks after there’s basically no leg hair growth 🤯 From someone who used to have visible stubble 3 days after shaving, this has been revolutionary for my confidence 🙂↕️

I get this feeling, but I don't think you need some "wow I'm baby" immersive experience to explore your little side. Start with easy things, like watching your favorite childhood cartoon while wearing a diaper, and find the things that feel comforting, nostalgic, or joyful to you personally :)

I think my chafed thighs are telling me that just because a Megamax *can* hold me for the whole day doesn’t mean it *should*

Back to your regularly scheduled diaper posting with a reminder that I have been padded 24/7 since October 1st 😁 that said, I did forget my diaper bag this morning so fingers crossed this one lasts me the rest of the workday 😅🤞

Sorry for the nonABDL ramble. I’m working through a burnout phase after a busy Fall. It got me thinking about growing up feeling insufficient and weird but also getting good grades and socializing “normally”. I didn’t realize how many masks I wore as a kid or how much it affects my sense of self now

The world might see you as functional, but they don’t see how much extra work goes into making yourself appear “normal”. I still burnout easily and slip into my cycles of escapism, but I have gotten so much better at pulling myself out of those slumps now that I understand my brain better.

It took me until the age of 29 to even seek out an adult ADHD diagnosis, and I still haven’t pursued an ASD evaluation even though I think it would be helpful, all because I can’t convince myself that I “struggle enough” to be taken seriously or something.

I look back and resent the way I managed myself in my college years and young adulthood. The cycles of forcing myself to burnout just to do well in things other people see (school, job, etc) and then rotting at home every moment I could get trying to get my brain to shut off and recover energy.

The concept of a high-functioning neurodivergent is such bullshit. You spend all your energy on 1 of 2 things: 1) exhausting yourself daily to meet external expectation. 2) hiding how poorly you are taking care of yourself in private. I’ve gotten a lot better but I lost a lot of my 20s to this cycle

I'm in like the un-horniest mood today, but I touched that thing to my post-work diaper at level 2 of 4 and still got the immediate "oh yeah that explains a lot" sensation 😵💫

I seriously can’t believe that I slept on diaper covers for so long. I changed my diaper halfway through the workday and noticed the inside of my cover had a massive wet spot up the the whole back left side. It had prevented what would have been a day-ruining leak that I hadn’t even noticed 😱

I don’t think we talk about NorthShore pull-ups enough! I wore this thing to one of my best friend’s wedding, and it held me for a 5 hour open bar reception + 2 hour after party 😤 low profile underwear-like waist line, no excessive bulk, but absorbency on par with standard tab-style medical diapers!

I don’t know why I deleted the original post, I guess I was worried my diaper didn’t look full enough 😣 but fuck that, I’m doing this to document my feelings. And I deserve to enjoy the embarrassing realization that I don’t remember when I wet my diaper enough to get this cold and soggy 🥹🫣

As the initial thrill of having accidents on my bathroom floor wore off, this method became the optimal way for me to maintain my bladder relaxation without having to constantly mop up pee. Tbh, I feel more like a toddler on the potty waiting to be empty than an adult choosing to use the toilet 🫣

I have come to reject the idea that the toilet is 100% off limits during 24/7 diapering. If I need to change and want to shower before re-diapering, what do I do if I need to work for 30-60 more minutes before showering? My solution is to just sit on the toilet with my laptop and stay relaxed.
