But... It’s not just about big info dumps, but also avoiding overly obvious ones.

She’s sees his blue eyes miles away (yeah, right), or a skinny person turns into a ramble about the MC’s own size, or when they know someone is 6'2" just by looking at them.

Personally, I get annoyed by intentionally “accidental” worldbuilding.

“I’d like to eat there, but they serve pork and I’m Muslim.” that’s a no for me.

“Too bad they don’t serve halal.” that’s great, because I can fill in the blanks.

A hockey stick already tells me what sport you play.

Already corrected some stupid mistakes...

But one of my feedback is that my beta readers would like more world building. How do I find that balance?

Definitely a Pantser. I have a broad outline that might not even be followed, and all these side characters that just pop up at unexpected moments.
