"Who doesn't have internet?" might quickly change into "Who even wants internet?", if this invasion of our privacy spreads.

Age verification data collection will befall PlayStation services later this year. Partly good intentions aside, be very careful how this is implemented.

We often see the argument key cards shouldn't get hate because other platforms have done similar things. Really missing the point. It's not a console war thing. In reality, people just realized that the measures to take away ownership from customers have reached a critical mass.

What people think buying game-key cards says: "I want physical games."
What buying GKC actually tells publishers: "Selling empty boxes and gatekeeping access to a purchased product is accepted now."

At no point do you send a signal that you value ownership and independence.

Video game giant Ubisoft closes Halifax studio, cutting 71 jobs | CBC News Staff formed company's first North American union in late December but Ubisoft says unionization did not influence closure.

60 workers at Ubisoft’s studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia voted to form a union.

In response, Ubisoft announced it was closing the entire studio. Maybe it’s time to look into the millions they get in public money for operating in Canada.
