And I write that as a trans non-binary person for whom a form of bottom surgery literally saved my life.
I'm pissed about this decision by the bishops and I'm pissed that I'm only learning about this from a skeet.
In case it's not clear, the Pope is right about wealth and wrong about a whole lot of other stuff that's very important to me, like loving my trans neighbor. Part of building any successful coalition will mean we have to have allies on one issue who will be our enemies on another.

The statement, "Jesus Christ is Lord," is in direct defiance of the Roman national anthem that Caesar is Lord. The foundation of the faith is decrying the illegitimacy of the state. The early martyrs died because they couldn't go along with the religious nationalism of their own day.
