Today p6 are replying to a letter to me to let me know their favourite or most memorable day of their Easter break and what their hopes are for the final term of P6.

Team games at PE today. We had to use our observation skills for one of the games! Which one? Ask your child.

We worked hard calculating fractions of shapes today. We were very confident at identifying the numerator and the denominator.

We worked hard using Garage Band this week in music. Ask us what we did!

We are working hard predicting the plot of our new novels for this term and practising our spelling words this morning.

We had a circle time today to wish one of our friends good luck at his new school.

We used our times tables and division knowledge to complete a colour by number challenge today.

Thanks so much to all the adults at home who came to parents evening over the last two nights. It was lovely chatting to you all.

Using our spelling strategies on One Note to help us identify the best one to spell our common words this week.

Today we wrote our character descriptions of our cycling mascots. Ask your child what their mascot was and what they could do.

After learning about the elements of art, we focussed today on Tone. We looked at the work of Tim Burton and created and image in his style. We began to add shading to it and will finish this off later this week. 🎨

P6R opted to play dodgeball today for PE. Our focus was on following the rules of the game.

We are working hard on dividing by single digit today. We have looked at a range of strategies to help us.

This afternoon we are creating a character. We will describe our character in our writing this week. Ask us what the character promotes.

We have looked at our common words this week and practiced them and are using Blooms Questions to create a range of questions on our text.

We learned the weather types in French yesterday then used our knowledge to illustrate the French sentences with the correct weather.

We worked hard on solving BODMAS word problems yesterday.
