There’s no reason you can’t do that on Switch (plenty of publishers like Fangamer and Super Rare do!) but it’s not the norm.

Plus there’s a not insignificant lineup of games that can’t be bought on any other contemporary platforms, from rare Stern arcade games to a custom Duke Nukem 1&2 remaster.

Evercade cartridges typically include between two and twenty seven games in a really nice package with a color manual and nice bonuses like posters and stickers and such for $30. (And it used to be $20 before the current catastrophic era.)

You can in fact use most 8bitdo controllers and arcade sticks with the VS console!
