This week is National Library Week, and to celebrate, I met up with @qplnyc.bsky.social President and CEO Dennis Walcott and @tiffanycaban.bsky.social at one of my favorite places, the Broadway Library in Astoria.

STATEMENT ON THE BOARD OF ELECTION CLERK’S REPORT The Rajkumar campaign’s recent statement is deliberately misleading. It implies that our legal case against them has been settled, when in reality, the case has just begun. The question of fraud has not yet been addressed, and will be heard by the Queens Supreme Court in the coming weeks. Here’s where we’re at, what it means, and what you can expect.
Today, the Clerk of the Board of Elections (BOE) released a report regarding our initial objections to Assemblymember Rajkumar’s petition signatures. The report stated that 1,064 signatures on Jenifer Rajkumar’s petitions were invalid for some basis other than fraud. The BOE only looks at the questions of whether the petition signatures themselves were executed correctly (criteria include correct dates and addresses, residency in the district, Democratic party enrollment, etc.). The BOE does NOT look at the question of fraud; the question of fraud is solely within the jurisdiction of the Queens Supreme Court.
The report also indicates that there are 1,168 instances of potential fraud that the Clerk did not rule on. The Court will hear our case and address the questions of fraud in the coming weeks. We look forward to a transparent process to uncover what we believe to be the largest case of confirmed petition fraud in recent New York City history. If you live in AD 38, did not sign our opponent’s petition, and are concerned your signature may have been forged, please reach out to info@david4queens.com. social media: Our lawsuit against Jenifer Rajkumar’s campaign has just begun. Despite the Rajkumar campaign’s highly misleading statement, today’s report from the BOE did not rule on fraud, and we look forward to pursuing our case at the Queens Supreme Court as planned.

I got on my bike and took a risk to share some big news: @nyc-dot.bsky.social has an updated and expanded proposal to redesign 31st Street!
I'm convinced Astoria has the best representatives of anywhere in the country. No exaggeration. And we are going to fix not only Astoria's streets but all of NYC
dsa candidate btw
incredible story
This is actually quite fucked up but imagine how good it feels as a state assembly campaign volunteer to expose malfeasance on the part of the incumbent through careful forensic analysis of public documents
We've uncovered what might be the biggest case of petition fraud in NYC's history, and now I'm taking my opponent to court.
In 2022, I helped catch Jenifer Rajkumar forging petition signatures. Four years later, she’s doing the same thing, but even more brazenly, because she has zero respect for her constituents or anyone but herself. Shameful.
Insane the smoking gun is that Rajkumar folks allegedly forged Cary Tiltons signature lmao Cary is involved in Orkin campaign+ was CM for Illapa22 & field coordinator for Claire24. Dangerous to allegedly fake signatures in neighborhood filled with DSA members

Yes, Jenifer Rajkumar forged signatures, including one of a long-time dedicated DSA member.
Giving cops arbitrary decision-making power to collude with ICE under the veil of “probable cause” isn’t progress. It’s a recipe for disaster that opens the door to racial profiling and endangers all New Yorkers!
This ain’t it, not even close. We must pass New York for ALL.
Email Gov. Hochul and your state legislators to tell them you support taxing the rich: actionnetwork.org/letters/tell...
We can pass big, bold programs like universal childcare that transform the lives of working New York families—but only if Gov. Hochul raises taxes on the wealthiest corporations to fund them.

the new shiny signs make it feel real. we did that!
Eric Swalwell: convicted of being a 69 god
Katie Porter: flopulist
Matt Mahan: no rizz
Every other Democrat: broke
Congratulations on your Governor seat Tom Steyer
For decades, we've been sold the lie that empire advances freedom and keeps us safe. Instead, it's led to violence, instability and a ruling class that reaps the profits but never pays the bill.
Today we're releasing our vision for a different foreign policy: clairevaldezforcongress.com/nowar
As New Yorkers struggle to afford their energy bills and corporate utilities raise rates, rolling back our state climate laws is unacceptable.
While federal protections crumble, New York State must continue to lead on climate and defend the CLCPA.

Happy Easter! ✨As we welcome a new season of rebirth, I join many of our neighbors in celebrating the story of resurrection of Jesus Christ, a Jewish refugee who taught the world to feed the hungry and welcome the stranger.
Shame to those who use his name in service of war.
When advocates & community organizers run and get elected to office, their hope, strength, organizing skills, and ambition about what’s possible not only transform WHAT policies are passed but WHO gets to decide. Great seeing you today @dianaforqueens.com!👸🏽
that's right! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅
As an immigrant rights organizer, I often worked with domestic workers who faced wage theft, discrimination, and other labor violations. I’m heartened by the
@mayor.nyc.gov administration’s relentless focus on empowering New York City’s workers.
It was a pleasure to attend @hellodcwp.bsky.social’s Paid Care Worker Convening this morning in Long Island City & honor the domestic workers whose labor keeps NYC running.
Thank you @juliesulabor.bsky.social, @saalevine.bsky.social & all the DCWP staff & organizations who made this event possible.
Real grateful that we have someone as passionate, and qualified as @dianaforqueens.com to speak on behalf of everyone whose lives would be improved if we passed New York For All.
Although she’s been in the assembly for less than 2 months, she’s already doing more work than most of her peers.
ICE is a rogue agency with no regards for the rule of law or public safety. They enter our homes, schools, and hospitals to separate families and detain innocent people. Colluding with ICE means colluding with Trump’s authoritarianism.
We must pass New York For All.
Thinking about how earlier this year, @aoc.bsky.social showed up for the hard-working organizers on the @dianaforqueens.com campaign, headlining a GOTV rally where she expressed her support for Diana, NYC-DSA, and electing many more democratic socialists to office.
An easy YES vote from me.
@mayor.nyc.gov is right. Albany can and must do more. To close the city's budget gap, we must tax the rich.
It's time to pass my bill with @sengonzalezny.bsky.social to tax NYC's wealthiest corporations and generate $1.7 billion in revenue, backed by the state legislature and 21 councilmembers.
