With all the depressing news, it was amazing to see so many people out at the Maryland Polar Bear Plunge today raising money for Special Olympics. Brutally cold though.

Back pain I can sympathize with. Been years fortunately but messed up disc was without a doubt worst pain I ever had. Safe travels and feel better.

Japan gets this right. Public bathrooms are fairly common and almost always pristine. I will say though, even though they are there, they aren't always obvious.

Introducing Cybersecurity to the Most Connected Generation | MITRE MITRE’s cyber experts present the ATT&CK® framework to young people as an entrée into cybersecurity.

An exciting role of the ATT&CK team is getting to engage with the community. As today's kids are increasingly plugged into technologies, cybersecurity education for them is increasingly important too--and our leadership has been doing just that. www.mitre.org/news-insight...

Yeah mini gyms in airports are a stellar idea. Let's get people sweaty before we cram them in a tiny flying tin can. That'll really improve the flight experience.

That's actually a really interesting link you made there. Can't argue the logic. If you are ever in Vancouver, check out Japadog. Also reminiscent of a street taco in terms of variations and topping selection.

Be warned that at least Walgreens actually will ask what condition you have that justifies your getting the COVID vaccine. Asthma is an easy one and they don't validate, but they are asking.

Exactly this. How will anyone not already at a more senior level ever reach that level of maturity and knowledge.

Agreed. Strange new worlds is amazing. Clearly they have great writers.

What are some must read books for infosec folks? Can be books to learn something, be better leaders or communicators, or even fiction. Just trying to get a good list built. Thanks in advance

Part of the issue is that we established school curriculum to force memorization instead of creativity. The workplace largely became an extension of that, with it being frowned upon to ask questions, even when those questions may drive progress or innovation.

I am SO SICK of politicians railing against chemtrails.

When is someone going to address the leprechaun infestations?! Those little bastards keep creating rainbows just to support pride. It's just sickening how they lord over us with their wee pots of gold...

I think you wear the hat that is comfortable and does what you want. Occasion really doesn't matter(I mean, maybe not a wedding or business event, but cookout? Why not)

Did it have buds at all on the bare branches? Almost looks like it might have some internal damage causing issues based on appearance of where the leaves are.

Absolutely true. In fact so many places deploy EDR but fail to realize it is literally the thing with the most access across the enterprise. That carries IT risk of course, but also massive security risk ripe for abuse without the proper controls.
