Oh completely! The ATS void hardly encourages high-quality applications too. I was lucky enough with my previous role that I did get their attention, but I’ve also had others push me toward completing an application form—justified as a means to reduce bias. As such I’m curious to hear from others.

Good advice. However, I'd be interested to hear people's experience with approaching Hiring Managers directly. That point feels less realistic in the age of the AI-ATS funnel.
