Yeah I’ve had similar issues with MH:Wilds and Nightreign. If you use an Nvidia GPU, I downgraded to the April version and it resolved my crashing issues.

Actually this would be exactly how S2 played out. Grey Zap in S2 was suction + ink armor. Teams ran jr cuz it built special harder over the firepower of grey zap. Basically you decide if you care more about more frequent ink armor vs. your support's fighting power.

Yeah, splatbomb and ink armor. You basically just run around painting and give the entire team ink armor. Ink armor is kind of sorta the equivalent of cooler in S3 in that most people ran it and it was meta defining.
