It is a sad reality that many of us in that search for online support as kids did end up meeting creeps who abuse us online, but I believe we need to nip that at the core instead of full censorship - Teach both parents and adults the danger signs of someone being abusive and online safety etc -

This always ends up being a dogwhistle for completely censoring even educational content to do with lgbt material for instance, where plenty of us realized what we were as kids and wanted to seek out support online when family/school abandoned us. This is gonna be really fucked.
