There is one really bad AGI-doubter/X-risk-doubter argument that really grinds my gears.

Bernie was that guy for us, but he's too old now. You could argue Warren was on our side too, but she's aging out as well. AOC is the next big star of the far-left, but we still worry about her. We worry that she's still too young. That America isn't ready for a woman president.
