Went to purchase something on Amazon and it said "last purchased September 2024". I have no memory of ever owning it. Did I lose it, or was it never delivered? No idea, lol. Now I have to search my house before buying.

My kid is nearly an adult, and not too into candy, but I wanted to do something fun for him. I printed out some Easter eggs, wrote a recipe in pieces on the back, and hid them around the kitchen. He enjoyed finding them, and we're going to bake it later.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you are loved (by me), you are not a burden. your feelings matter. YOU matter!
One of my favourite easy meals. A tortilla, a handful of pre-chopped coleslaw veggies (from the bagged salad section at the grocery store), some leftover chicken, pre-shredded cheese - in the toaster oven just long enough to melt the cheese.

Every time this comes up I think like... how can they not see the problem with their own argument? They say you can only be the gender you were assigned at birth, and then they look at this woman, who was assigned female at birth, and go "that's a man".
A crystal vase with 2 miniature shovels and a miniature rake inside.
This vase is part of a set we got as a wedding gift 17 years ago. It has sat in a cupboard except for a handful of times we got flowers. I've been trying to find ways to use even "nice" things regularly or pass them on to people who will use them more. So now this fancy vase holds my #bonsai tools.
Thank you ❤️
Interesting... I was on anti-anxiety meds for an off-label use and thought that it was making my anxiety/depression worse. But it could have also been the stress of a new chronic illness. Maybe I should look into it again.
I'm probably autistic, but having trouble accessing resources for diagnosis.
So good! Also, pet food dishes for water is a great idea.
Somehow replacements are never the same. It looks and feels and functions the same, but I know it's not the same.
Still, if you need me, I'll be over here playing my game!
#buythething that makes you happy, even if it seems silly, even if others don't understand. You deserve it.
I don't remember how much money I got, but I have often regretted selling it. It's one of the reasons I am so anxious about getting rid of anything.
I finally bought myself another one. I am giddy, excited to play my game again, but also still regret getting rid of the original.
An old (1996) handheld jumanji game. It is green with orange buttons and cartoon characters in white. There is a folded instruction manual above it, and it is sitting on the cardboard backing from the original packaging, which shows some screens of the game.
When I was a kid, I had this game. I beat it over and over, but it still held my attention. I brought it with me any time we were going to be in the car for a while.
As a teen, I discovered eBay and sold it. I remember my mom asking, "Are you sure?"
I, of course, said "yes" and mailed it off.
Yogurt drinks are a favourite snack of mine. They are easy to grab and drink when I'm in a rush or not feeling well or when I know I need to eat something but nothing seems appealing.

Acrude sketch of a cartoony dinosaur jumping in a backpack, and next to it three drawings of the same topic showing the dinosaur before the jump, during, and after the jump.
Programmer's sketch vs final (animated in the game) artist's interpretation :D
Make it happen first! You can perfect it later ^_^

A sprout popping out of the dirt in a little burlap planter.
👀 when I repotted my bonsai sprouts (blog post coming... sometime), I watered the other little planters one last time, "just in case," and stuck them on a shelf to be forgotten about. A few days ago, I found this!

This car page was the first one I decided on for the new busy book I'm making. This little guy loves cars, and moving them along the cords on this page will help him develop fine motor and coordination skills.

“don’t forget to drink water” in the colourful pokopia font on a pale blue background with white clouds
Yellow flowers on a long stalk emerging from a succulent plant. The succulent is blurred in the background, with the focus on the flowers.
A succulent with a long stalk emerging from one side, continuing out of the frame, and a smaller one with buds on the other side.
Succulent update! The first stalk is still blooming, and the second has grown quite a bit.

I'm just glad someone else knows what I'm talking about and how good they are, lol. Let me know if you try making them!
An esspresso pumpernickel bagel with egg and cheese.
My lunch from Salty Blonde Bagel Bar on Blake in Barrie, ON. They make their own sourdough bagels, and serve all sorts of sandwiches on them. I always grab a half dozen of esspresso pumpernickel bagels on my way out.
Done! The kit called for 2 contrasting fabrics, but the scraps I grabbed from my stash weren't quite enough, so I added a 3rd. I think I like it better this way.

I've been trying to eat healthier lately. While trying to find a replacement for my breakfast staple (Ozery morning rounds), I accidentally found a copycat recipe!

Tweet that reads Leo Xander @STALLEON Stop taking social media so serious. Nothing here is real. Look at this chicken V - it is bigger than the car
I think about this tweet every time I feel something online start to curl its annoying little grip into my head
A pack of 50 singer sewing needles.
A zip top bag full of pre-cut card pieces beside an instruction booklet for making a mini victorian needle box.
Before today, all the needles I had were "borrowed" from my grandmother or found in those tiny sewing kits hotels used to have. I've been having trouble finding them, so I bought a large pack of needles. I was trying to decide where to store them and remembered this kit I bought like 25 years ago.
I got a few days of vacation! I have multiple lists of things I want to do while I'm off work, but I have to remember to rest, too. The prospect of having time to do all the things is always exciting.

The flowers on my succulent are starting to open, so I wanted to post a closeup. #succulent #plantparent #floweringsucculent
