“Farage rarely turns up to do his actual job. Yet he finds time to jet off around the world on his donor’s private plane and trouser half a million quid while families struggle. Reform are not on your side. They’re just in it for themselves”
It’s so obvious, it hurts.

The White House is completely silent as BBC confirms a consistent pattern of massive financial spikes occurring just minutes before Donald Trump makes market moving announcements.
The administration is facing severe allegations of illegally profiteering off inside knowledge.

Providing a pop of spring colour, these beautiful blooms are also a fantastic source of early-season pollen and nectar for pollinators emerging from hibernation. What a sight after the winter months!
This morning I’ve seen Olly Robbins’s appearance before the select committee described as ‘box office’, while a commentator flagged up another key political moment with the words ‘bring the popcorn’.
That’s one of our main problems right there.
Voters have just today left to register to vote for the local elections taking place across England on 7 May. Anyone who wants to take part must register before 11.59pm tonight.
Registering takes minutes at gov.uk/register-to-vote. Just need name, address & National Insurance number. Pass it on.
How quickly we forget. The liar boris Johnson was promoted to Foreign Secretary by Theresa May having failed the vetting process.

This country (the UK) is going f*cking crazy over an appointment made by a Labour PM, not because it proved to be a bad decision and led to a sacking, but because it was made by a "Labour" PM.
Mandelson and his friend Epstein are the bad guys.
Starmer isn't Boris bloody Johnson either.
Wake up UK.
Nota? No, ta.

The average person doesn’t give a fuck if AI has some niche use where it actually excels if used properly. In fact, that is what a tool is *supposed* to do and none of us will have a problem if it is used like that. What we see is AI fucking up real life in a massive way.
Have you noticed when these threat often occurs? It's always on Friday evening or Saturday morning. By Sunday to Monday morning, they are making progress in non existent talks.

For years, disruption has been portrayed as leadership. But moments like the Artemis II mission and governing wins are reminding people what competence actually feels like. Once voters start expecting real and valuable results again, politics changes. At this moment in America, that shift matters.
While death and destruction rained down on Iran during the war’s first month, the world’s 100 biggest oil and gas companies brought in an extra $30 million per HOUR in windfall profits.
Yes, $30 million per HOUR.
All because of the deadly and reckless decision making of one man.
Pretty bad that BBC news at 10 went to the Tories and Reform for comment on the Mandelson story but not Lib Dems, Greens or SNP. Either get comment from the official opposition or a spread of parties.
Whatever your views on Prince Harry, he has held up an unforgiving mirror to some loathsome aspects of tabloid press behaviour, writes @arusbridger.bsky.social
NEW: A new pre-print study offers the first causal evidence that outsourcing reasoning tasks to AI can rapidly erode users' independent performance AND their will to persist despite difficulty.
"People’s persistence drops... they’re also not willing to try without AI.”

A lot of people are quick to say they *can't* give up Amazon.
Okay, don't.
Just don't make it your default. That thing you threw in your basket that you can get elsewhere? Get it elsewhere.
If everyone still buying from Amazon reduced their spending by 20%, Bezos would be screaming bloody murder

Dear Iran,
If you have a copy of the Epstein files, or can get ahold of a copy,
I propose that publishing them to the World would be in everyone’s best interest.
What Israel is doing to Lebanon is obscene, carpet bombing civilians, massacring people in their hundreds, total disregard for human life. Truly plumbing the depths of evil. The single greatest source of violence and instability in the region and it's not even close.
Reform Factoid of the day:
Nathan Gill, ex-Welsh Leader for Reform in Wales is in prison for colluding with the Russians.
"after a BBC report warned of a decline in UK-made children's content ... including less investment by both public and commercial broadcasters" - shame. The caption says vote Reform get Trump, the photo appearing to be torn in half shows half of Trump's face (the left half), next to half of Farage's face (the right half)
Morning everyone.
It's not like he's not been making it bleedin' obvious these last ten years, is it?
