Space capsule bobbing on surface of the ocean with five floatation devices that look like they have maple leaves or some botanical motif as part of their structure.
Personally, I kind of like the stylized maple leaf motifs on the floats. #canada

I have fond memories of this community. I did my stateside Peace Corps training at Penn Center on the island, long before it was declared a national monument. I did a homestay with a nearby family. It's a very special place.

Crude oil on cool surface water that spreads but is still cohesive.
It’s happening again. Now with much cooler weather this experiment will compare effects of a surface oil spill on shallow wetlands during summer (warming) or autumn (cooling) conditions.
