If I am elected president I will require all streaming services to add little context cards before Super Bowl episodes of 90s sitcoms bc the stunt casting is really distracting
A deal ending the Iran war seemed close. Then Trump posted online
We've all been there
Ok, I've been seeing this all day and just...
Didn't we already do this?
Didn't Snapchat have a better looking pair of smart glasses 5-10 years ago right around the time Meta (then Facebook) bought them?
Didn't we already do a big AR push?!
Am I going insane...
NEVER COMPLY IN ADVANCE
What a heartbreaking and beautiful way to start the week.

Every superhero is a metaphor that fights other metaphors of the same clade
The Flash is a physics, who fights other physics (mirrors, aerodynamics, cold). Superman is a god, who fights other gods. That’s so good, but Batman is a fear who fights other fears. That’s always the easiest match to sell.
Pacing is truly the hardest thing for me. When I'm moving at a pace I can maintain I feel like I'm going so slow but if I try to go faster, I end up having to take breaks.
Fucked up my whole run today trying to catch up to friends. Went from 30 seconds behind to several minutes wearing myself out.
you heard it here last but jesus maybe flattening all of art and performance and knowledge into Content wasn’t a great move
so-called "artificial intelligence" is actually made by trapping thetans and forcing them to answer queries and because thetans are the souls of dead aliens this violates the biblical command against necromancy
Feels like one of those films that if it had come out 10-20 years ago, it'd still be quoted today and pretty heavily memed.
Given how things work now, it'll probably worm its way into our shared lexicon and be one of those "Oh that's where that's from" over the next few years.
Just watched "Pizza Movie" and what a great college/stoner comedy.
Everything that gets set up gets paid off and it's a zippy 97 minutes with a lot of laughs.
Worth a watch.

From Donald and Mickey in Metropolis and Faust: Mousetropolis Mictor: Those PEOPLE! Always th' same fake faces... droning on an' on with th' same BLATHER! Filthy rich, self-important boring ghouls!
It's cliche for a reason and that reason is that it rocks.
Need characters for this weekend fantasy #TTRPG session?
I GOT YOU COVERED!
A friend told me earlier tonight that there's some documentary where some guy thought to ask AI boosters, "Well, how do you intend your children to interact with this technology?"
And all of them were like, "Never thought about that."
And he described this as an optimistic documentary.

Oh man!
I thought to myself, "Damn, what a great ending to this season of The Pitt."
Then they gave us that little bump at the end. Hahahahaha, brilliant!
Exactly one year ago today:
Hey fyi way too many, even leftists who should know better, effusively praising the papacy is making it way, way more difficult to organize against this.
This trans healthcare ban is literally going to cost trans people's lives but yeah, woke pope made a statement or whatever.
they got the Church of England supporting the Pope now
The horror that must have been asking anyone to do the dishes.
My opinion on Rent completely flipped when I realized Benny's origin story was being roommates with Mark and Maureen while they were fucking, Roger in his heroin-using era, and Collins the perpetually fired academic. That's enough to drive anyone to evil, marry rich and become a landlord.
Mock-up cover for Dungeon Module D1-2, Velour Palace of the Disco Emperor, with a picture of three very styling guys.
Some of the most evocative prose I've seen in a while, a brilliant essay
