It's out. You can play it.

Sounds like you’re just parroting what everyone else was saying a week ago. Try it first.
As a smuggler of drugs, I’ll try it out. However, it will be hard to beat a stealth Hull-A which has twice the cargo and much stealthier. MSR will still be my go to for larger payloads or small ones that need cargo shielding.
Ladder room isn't worth it.
Pretty sure those beacons aren't new, but man I wish every major spaceport had them. Makes it so easy to line up.
Can also fit 160SCU of cargo if you're tricky about it. Will fit a GEO + Nursa, or a GEO + ROC and 6 SCU of shielded cargo for shipping those gems back across the Pyro border. Stealth build can get your emissions below the CS rating. Just don't merge into a fight with the MSR and you'll be fine!
Asgard, for sure.
The Asgard with room for a Golem, Nursa, ATLS Geo and tons of space for storage is shaping up to be an amazing mid sized solo FOB for lots of situations.
180 SCU of cargo, and a shitload of firepower. It’s doing to be real hard to beat as a daily.

We should know in 10 days! In the mean time, check out a full Hull-A stealth build. It carries way less cargo, but you can sneak in and out of those rough Pyro spots without being seen.
Best ship
As I fall back in love with my Corsair, I did forget how hard it is to park.

Love seeing so many Corsairs back in the ‘Verse. Thanks for de-shittifing it @robertsspaceind.bsky.social

Won’t this thing get smoked by a Gladius?
4.0.2 is current. The new patch is 4.1.
Has anyone been picking up Hauling contracts that include tin and instead of delivering to where it's supposed to go, sell it off at Ruin Station? They buy contracted cargo, and tin's prices are still insane. I make 3.2M in a single run, no risk or money up front. It's pure profit.
#StarCitizen
I’ve been selling contracted tin from Covalex missions at Ruin station for very low risk cash. Try that and recoup some of your time.
MOAR HOTFIXES!
I *LOVE* this addition to #StarCitizen. A public status site is one of the most important ways companies can gain trust with their customers. Being open, honest and transparent. Thanks @robertsspaceind.bsky.social!

RMQ updates. 👌
Love these paints.
Favorite moon so far: Magda vibes were entirely retro synth cyberpunk. Complete with the pink and teal sunset. My personal datacenter is definitely going here.

YEAH! MSR buffed!!!!
"Fixed - Crusader Industries Mercury Star Runner - Mercury Star Runner (MSR) from inside recreation area has ship texture in doorway (STARC-119553)"
I think it's now more about the RMQ (Replication Message Queue) and what they're learning about scaling it. From what they've said in the past, this is a custom built MQ layer that does not have the support of an Open Source solution.
If you're interested theory crafting about the back-end system powering #StarCitizen and (maybe why 4.0 has been degrading over time, the Meshing Forward episode has a lot of insights into the challenges CIG is encountering as they try to scale the game's persistence layer.

I popped over to Aberdeen right after visiting Ariel. It was again, a little underwhelming. Featureless and baron, almost the same pallet as Ariel. 2/10 would not recommend. #StarCitizen #Stanton #Hurston #Aberdeen
...or horizontally scaling to more servers in a cluster (shard) will only add more pressure on the persistence layer. Yes, they are fixing a lot of game bugs, but there is a deeper scaling problem under it all that needs (potentially) significant development time. State machines suck at scale.
Yes, there are multiple clusters now but there is still one persistence layer that manages the state machine for the entire 'Verse. This persists objects between all regions and clusters and is likely not optimized yet. Vertically scaling EC2 instances to larger sizes...
There's been lots of speculation as to why #StarCitizen 4.0 experience has degraded since preview released.
IMO, this is an issue with scalability of the persistence layer. Over time, I imagine the number of objects stored in the shared persistence layer has bloomed up into tens of millions.
