I still think about the Echo chapter a Lot!! i don’t think i’ve ever realized such a palpable level of dread after what appeared to be a lengthy and unrelated scientific tangent. I’ve also read some reddit “explanations” about the whalestoe letters but i’d like to dive back in again…

My last full read was like in 2017 OOF since my copy of it got shuffled around in storage and i recently got access to it again! I feel very haunted by it. while it does “”resolve”” the way you can still get endlessly lost in it makes it so the endless analysis, never ends, it only stops moving.

Oh i was getting the itch to reread house of leaves so this is quite timey thank you : )

Hourly Comics Day 2026

late to the party but I wanted to give hourly comics a shot wish me luck 🙏

Hourly Comic Day 2026. At 6AM, Circe woke Ken up to go outside. 11AM, Ken wakes properly. He's sick, and has been since the storm a few days ago. 12PM, Circe hasn't returned, so it must be nice out. 12:30PM, Circe returns, not to leave again till nightfall. 1PM, Ken reads some classic Stan Lee and Jack Kirby Thor. 2PM, Ken catches up on drawing these comics, all while drinking some turmeric and ginger black tea.

3PM, Ken's gotta send his details to the Airbnb he's staying in while in Japan. 4PM, It's garbage time, but the cold air stings Ken's sinuses, almost as if he's drowning. 5PM, He watched Steven Universe whilst drawing. 6PM, He had spicy ramen with chicken chunks for dinner. 7PM, Ken muses on the romatasy books he's been listening too. Perhaps he is too asexual, but they are comically horny. 8PM, it's time for him to wind down with some Elden Ring: Nightreign. He still doesn't have a crew though.

9PM, Ken defeated a Nightlord in Elden Ring: Nightreign for the first time, and it seems that the real Nightreign starts here. 10PM, After an awful morning, Ken ended up being very productive by getting these comics done and finding things to do. Circe on the other hand, barely moved after one o'clock. 11PM, Of course, now he's been playing that game for hours while listening to wrestling podcasts. 12AM, Maybe he needed this. It was a lot less isolated making these comics as part of a community, and also people reaching our between posts, and he certainly got to relax. Alas, tomorrow, the struggle continues.
