Often I don't invite people to my house because it is mid and trashed. But if I get invited to a friend's house which is chaotic and cluttered (not dirty, but cluttered), not only do I not mind, I feel validated.

I do kinda wish more people would post about how their mid houses are often trashed, they operate with minimal motivation or energy, and they feel like they're failing their kids, but they still manage to eke out a decent life because God knows that's what it feels like a lot of the time.

FWIW, “girly” jobs means anything women do more than men. Teaching? Used to be a male profession. So did veterinary medicine. So did psychology, pharmacy, and even nursing. Guess what happens as the percentage of women approaches parity? Men literally FLEE from those jobs. 💀
