First thing that is a given when shopping. Goes with everything.

Hey, if it’s good for one it’s good for all

Yep, and the right to ‘live as we want to’ has never been a right.

I 💯 agree with you, and I think the answer to what is wrong is ‘people’. The amount of moaning I’ve seen from Labour supporters saying the focus should be beating Reform. The number of other voters just putting the govt down. I’m starting to wonder if the people have too much say.

Conflicting story this. I have sympathy if she feels exhausted at being attacked for doing essentially what the referendum voted for, whilst finding the response less than useful.

There’s no precedent for anything that’s going on in the world right now, that seems like a false comparison.

She should be held to account if she can’t come up with any more ‘serious questions’ that haven’t already been answered.

Cool America, we’re doing thought crime now?

Oh 💯, if it’s down to us scoring more than them we may as well give up now! I’m just wary of how low mood can affect my judgement, so the last thing I need to do is believe the situation is even worse in reality than I already thought!

I hear that this is what you think, and I get how important the post is. IMO though, that doesn't mean that's what has happened, and my exprience of government over the last ten years means that to me, very little beggars belief.

There’s a scene in the first season of the West Wing where Leo goes off on the President for succumbing to bias. Feels like Western politics is sadly short of Leos.

The question then for me is nothing to do with outside conjecture about what he has done, if we’re saying he doesn’t know his own mind it becomes ‘is he self aware enough for this job?’ But again, most of us can only speculate.

Yeah, when you put it on paper like that, doesn't look good does it! I think I'm keen to just be clear on the facts because it's stressful enough!

GD is the primary decision maker though, right? And then goals scored? Not saying we'll win the title this way, they literally have to win the Burnley game 1-0 to go ahead, but that is still theoretical until it happens?

Not sure where this has come from, I heard it yesterday - the table to my eyes says we have a GD one better?

I always applaud good journalism, and Susanna Reid never gives people an easy ride. But in this instance, I don’t feel the scenario proposed is as ludicrous as is being made out. Most of us struggle to be on top of everything in our own lives, let alone doing the same for the biggest job in the UK.

That Shankly quote about football being more important than life and death hides a deeply ingrained, unhealthy energy that exists in a lot of football fans. It speaks to an inability to prioritise things in the real world, and your son is so lucky that you are more self aware. Kudos to you my friend

Agree with everything you say, bar the ‘fair play’ part…

100%. Sadly I'm finding external forces are sapping the joy from football, at some point I'll have to make a call as to whether it's worth the attention I give it. But balanced chat helps, so thank you

Depends on your mileage. If people feel too raw to discuss, that’s cool. I enjoy talking things through, it’s part of my process. And honestly, win or lose anything this season, I think the consensus is the way we’ve played this season is unsustainable & or haven’t enjoyed the season.

I know we’ve had injuries, but so have they. Difference is, 115 then went and splashed in Jan on Semenyo and Guehi. The fact Arteta may have overplayed players and the fact 115 continue to get away with it are all part of the story.

I don’t hate it, in fact I think it’s part of the issue, I also think that the extent to which we’ve not rotated the squad enough because there wasn’t enough trust could be a part of why we had so many injuries.

I feel like that’s a comment on how unprepared you feel the squad is then, which just makes the case against Arteta stronger. I don’t know if they’ll sack him or not, TBF Scott only expressed that he thought they should, not that they would.

Ok, but you not agreeing with it doesn’t make it objectively any more wrong than anyone else’s.

Come on Jonny, he’s allowed his opinion, and I’m not sure what the answer is but it has merit. Surely you must wonder how knackered and injured our core players are and how that tallies with the lack of minutes the rest of the squad have had. That’s on one person. And I don’t like saying it.

Haha, this is so true. It’s not fun to be a left-leaning Arsenal fan right now.

3 days ago 0 0 0 0

Oh yeah, I can 💯 agree that if that was part of the strategy (and I’m not for a second saying it was), don’t hire the guy who literally has a nickname that tells everyone what he’s about 😂

And I’m conflicted on the knowledge available at the time about his level of involvement with Epstein.

3 days ago 0 0 0 0

Agree and disagree. The Epstein stuff should have been enough. But I’m starting to come round to thinking that sadly, it’s a dog-eat-dog world & I can’t honestly say I know that having your own corrupt politicians as ambassadors is a bad thing. Sadly.
