Mu La Flaga from Gundam Seed

Murrue Ramius and Mu La Flaga from Gundam Seed.

The Gundam Arsenal Base card game came out with these Mu cards and I really really want them.

Illustration by 松原秀典 (Hidenori Matsubara), who was the character animation director for the GQuuuuuuX ‘Beginning’ portion - so ep.2, plus the first half of ep.8.

Matsubara’s credits include Perfect Blue, Rebuild of Eva, Sakura Taisen, and more.

Psycho Gundam, GQuuuuuuX version.

Whilst I prefer the OG Mk-II design (one of my all time favs!), I do like how the GQuuuuuuX Psycho Gundam blocks up the eye area. It feels intense, caged, closed-in.

Also interesting that whilst this new ‘Psycho Gundam’ version doesn’t feature ‘Mk-II’ in its name, MRX-010 matches the Mk-II in Zeta.
