I don’t believe this, that’s just taken from an ex conservative MP’s retirement list.

If there are credible allegations of war crimes and genocide, normal trade and military ties can’t just carry on. That undermines the whole system.
Same rules, same standards, everywhere. Otherwise “international law” is just politics dressed up.

Agree with Zack Polanski 100%. If international law matters, it has to apply to allies too, not just opponents.
You can’t condemn October 7 and then ignore the scale of civilian harm, destruction and starvation that’s followed. Consistency isn’t optional.

Just another laid-back Sunday afternoon in La Garde-Freinet — featuring a surprise cameo from “Sharon from Wales.”

I love this, especially knowing that most donations go to children’s hospitals. Many of mine go to Great Ormond Street, and I’ve given three donations this week alone, each of which can help up to 12 children. I’m already booked in every fortnight for the next couple of months.

Reform MP condemned for making ‘tartan burqa’ joke at Scottish election launch Sarah Pochin has previously been criticised for calling for a ban on burqas

Reform are anti muslim, that’s clear. Sarah Pochin, one of Reform’s most ignorant MPs, says anyone wearing a burka should be subject to stop and search - she should be subject to stop and search, for signs of intelligent life. Refrom’s Zia Yusef called her dumb, harsh or fair?

Trafalgar Square is regularly used for Christian stuff – you know that right? You and your party clearly have Islamophobic tendencies. Thank God - any god you care to name - that you have no chance of leading our country any time soon.

Britain deserves better.

Global fossil prices are sky rocketing and we set the price of our own green energy to be the same. Madness.

This needs fixing immediately by uncoupling gas and electricity prices. Our energy bills should not be driven by unrest in the Middle East or by the decisions of leaders thousands of miles away, which then feed straight into higher fuel prices, inflation and mortgage rates.

Actually I think these people should be facing jail time - a fine that they probably can't or won’t pay, for this horrendous abuse, not just of our countryside but of the law. This punishment does not fit the crime.

Interesting story, skeleton racer banned for images of dead people on his helmet - but the bigger issue here is inconsistency, western double stands….Russia is banned, Israel is not.

Sad that it’s needed, but amazing to see families backing their local schools.
Communities shouldn’t have to plug the gaps left by government, but the support is inspiring.
Imagine schools properly funded and supported like this.

We applied for funding, met the criteria, and was accepted. We’re now on the waiting list.
In reality, that’s where progress goes to die. No school will ever move up unless new money appears, because none will shut down a club to make space.
Approval without funding isn’t support. It’s theatre.

There’s an enormous gulf between people's lived experiences of heat pumps and the claims being made by some energy companies and politicians.

Heat pumps are being mis-sold and our new report shows why.

He makes up half of this garbage on the spot, his knowledge of history, like that of many of his followers, comes from American war films. Yesterday’s claim was a prime example, they won WWII for us, and without them we would all speak German or maybe Japanese is a prime example.
