I refuse to accept the labelling of science as ‘left-wing’. Not only because I think this is largely aimed at discrediting facts as opinions, but also -for any insider- it’s so untrue. The echelons of science are too traditional, hierarchical & club-based to qualify for any sort of progressive left.

Can you provide an example? The actions of Israel and the dehumanising attitudes of Israelis towards Palestinians (and I’m an ex-israeli) are comparable to nazism. Yeshayahu Leibowitz coined the term ‘Judonazis’. According to the examples of the definition that makes us antisemitic. Ridiculous

of course it should exclude criticism of israel, otherwise everything is antisemitism and when everything is, nothing is… and then we’re actually in danger. wake up

why does antisemitism need its own definition? is it because it is intentionally conflated with support for Israel?.. the use of the definition is adopted to halt criticism of Israel and support for Palestine, and therefore leads to increased antisemitism.. as Jews we should oppose its use
