Transitional / possession whatever you want to call it it’s definitely more boring to watch. Just my opinion.

So less🤷♂️
Does that stats show more or less shot on goal?
I miss those days. We used to fight for every single ball. Now every team has to play Pep ball. This possesion based football is just too boring to watch.
If anything, Europe has been forced into a reactive position while Washington sets the pace, imposes tariffs when it suits its interests, and then criticizes EU members for not falling in line quickly enough. That’s not “burden sharing”—that’s pressure politics.
The press should be holding governments to account, not acting like an echo chamber for whatever narrative is most convenient.
What happened to journalism? We used to have reporters who challenged power, dug for truth, and refused to accept rehearsed talking points. #iran #Usa #israel
War has already taken too much from too many, and the idea of Europe being dragged into another one is unbearable. So I hope you’re right.
This cycle of selective outrage, selective legality, and selective accountability is exactly why the region keeps burning. If governments want credibility, they need to stop rewriting history and start facing the consequences of their own choices.
-instead of asking the obvious questions — like why the public was told that Iran’s nuclear program had already been “neutralized,” or why endless military action is treated as the default solution.
And if this latest escalation blows up in their faces, we all know what comes next: Europe lining up behind yet another intervention, repeating the same mistakes from the early 2000s as if nothing was learned. Meanwhile, major news outlets will amplify official talking points
Media institutions should be holding every government to the same standard instead of giving some a free pass while amplifying others’ failures. Selective accountability isn’t journalism — it’s narrative management.
When states with long records of military interventions frame themselves as the sole guardians of “stability,” and major news outlets repeat that framing without scrutiny, the public gets a distorted picture.
The Iranian government deserves criticism for repression, regional interference, and the way it treats its own people — that’s not in question. But it’s also impossible to ignore how major powers use that reality as cover for their own escalations.
it’s escalation dressed up as moral authority. If stability is the goal, the double standards need to end.
From Afghanistan and Iraq to Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, and beyond, the pattern has been the same: pre‑emptive strikes, regime‑change ambitions, and “temporary operations” that turn into years of conflict. Calling for peace while repeating the same playbook isn’t diplomacy
It’s wild watching powerful states lecture Iran about “destabilizing the region” when their own track record since 2000 includes multiple major wars, invasions, and military campaigns that reshaped entire countries. #iran #usa

Let’s get into these fuckers from the first whistle til the last, and show them that #NUFC will not be pushed around by anyone! 💪🏴🏳️
Other clubs do not get to decide what is best for Newcastle United. Fans of other clubs do not get to decide what is best for Newcastle United. Newcastle United decide what is best for Newcastle United. #nufc
This may seem obvious but numerous people seem to struggle with this simple fact.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle United are in talks to sign prolific Nottingham Forest forward Christos Timber.
Club sauces stress he is definitely not Chris Wood.

Exactly. So why doesn’t he give that up. If it’s so unbearable for him he should be willing to forfeit all that and hand in his request. But he or his agent more likely wants it all.
So Isak doesn’t want to play for the club again, reports claims he’s moved out of his home. So what I don’t get is why doesn’t he put in a transfer request. You can’t have it both ways. #nufc
35 games- 19 goals- 5 assists would be a solid signing. Very underrated. I would be happy with Wissa
I’m just enjoying the summer and quite relaxed. The club has done nothing wrong up until now. The signings have been spot on previously (Isak, Botman, Tonali) and we’re moving in the right direction. We’ve been held back by the rules and I will judge the club when the window closes.
None and couldn’t give less of a ….
