I have made a working one out of three that were not functional. It stayed in the "pipeline" for more than one year before I got together all the pieces to fix mine. There are significative differences between generations and licensed models.

I repaired this little camera three months ago, and I swapped the selenium cell with the one from a donor. It’s a simple camera but quite challenging in its construction.

The Eumig Eumigetta. A collapsible lens camera that shoots medium format film and is made entirely of cast metal. The Eumigetta was launched by Austrian Eumig around 1951. Mine has the typical Eumig brown colour.

The shutter of the Eumigetta is a marvel of simplicity. One speed for all moments: 1/50s I had to regenerate a tension spring and straighten the shutter actuator. It’s a hell of a job to get it right.
