Evhenii’s wife remained in Orikhiv until the end — enduring constant shelling, cut off from water, power, and safety.

He had already lost everything — yet still chose to defend what remained.
Rarely have I been received with such quiet kindness.
He mattered.
Remember his name.
In 2023, a Russian bomb destroyed the home he built with his own hands.
By 2024, he had been drafted into the army.
On Christmas Eve, he wrote:
“Orikhiv is still under heavy fire. I’m in the regular army now. Air defense.
When you come back, I’ll have so many interesting things to tell you.”
I sometimes naively hope my protagonists won’t die.
But they do.
Evhenii lived in Orikhiv, a frontline town in southeastern Ukraine.
He had rebuilt two rooms in his bombed-out house, just enough to stay — fearing looters more than shells.
He stayed.
He endured.

⚡️Danish PM decries US threats to annex Greenland.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen slammed the U.S. on April 3 for its repeated threats to take over Greenland.
"You cannot annex another country... Not even with an argument about international security," Frederiksen said on April 3.

In the meantime, we have found additional footage showing humiliation of Ukrainian POWs. The footage will be submitted to human rights inspectors from various NGOs for independent review. We are also working to identify the victims in order to present the collected evidence to the ICC. 1/2
