I made a faux stained glass window hang for Sadie, finally finding it in me to create something again.

Everything I surround myself with are traces of you

When I find your fur, I want to hold you.
I listen for a bark that will not ever come.
These small reminders you were here for 13 years are now weeping fragments of myself lost.

My best friend
I miss you.

I will never be able to articulate how much this dog meant to me.
I can't even begin to explain the physical hole I feel in my heart, or the unbearable sadness that comes with losing someone as special as Sadie was to me.

I loved her very much.
So, so much.

Sadie passed away today.
