@danbarrett.au I work on an ongoing Australian Drama series and there has definitely been a buzz about the Pit from the Writers and Directors..story, characterisation and episode structure. Adolescence also prompted discussion, but a lot of it was technical chat.

@rarefilmm.bsky.social Jon, came across your post on twitter about From Darkness To Light, Have you had any success in finding the documentary? (I did see the link you posted, but unfortunately its no longer valid..)

I thought this was a deliberate choice too. Surely if it was a mistake it would have been rectified asap.

Brisbane seemed to have an embryonic comic scene back then. This was about the same time that DeeVee was coming out too. Not too sure what happened..everyone moved away probably. I get the same sense in Sydney now with the zine culture. There’s some good stuff coming out of the innerwest.

Remember watching Trudy and Doug(?) at Theatre Sports in the early 90’s.
