I shared this info with my 11yo, and she said “I wanna watch that. Tell her that I would watch it.”

It’s super cute though.

My stylist did a fresh dye on Thursday, and my fingernails are still turning blue every time I scratch my scalp. 😂

A nice turnout in Beaverton.

And I’m inspired to reread Goose Girl, even though it made me very sad when I read it many years ago.

These days, my comfort rereads include The House in the Cerulean Sea (TJ Klune), Red White & Royal Blue (Casey McQuiston), Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Becky Albertalli), Heartstopper (Alice Oseman), Restart After Coming Back Home (Cocomi), and Our Dining Table (Mita Ori).

That has to have been it. 😩 Maybe I can handle it now. Or maybe if I’d read it as a kid, since I seemed to handle The Neverending Story just fine back then.

Also, I read The Goose Girl years ago and I only remember it made me sad. 😢 But so many people talk about how they love it so, which is inspiring me to read it again and see if it hits differently at this time in my life.

Hooray! It’s on my “list of comics I’m interested in” with a ?? in the release date spot. I’m glad to hear it’s still on.

Psst, Jeremy. Any news on the dashing school for wayward princes? Is that project still happening?

Poor neglected baby ☹️

That sounds like a horribly frustrating morning. Solo parenting is hard enough even when you’re not being thwarted right and left by things out of your control. ❤️

Here is my Best Dog and Goodest Girl rejecting a potato chip, because she is a poodle and therefore is particular about her food. 😌

She is clearly the Best Dog and Goodest Girl and I love her. 😍

My friend always says “reading internet comments is the intellectual equivalent of licking doorknobs.” I still do it sometimes though. 🤦‍♀️

Casa Isabel, just off California Ave in Palo Alto, CA. My favorite dish: enchiladas poblanas (chicken with mole sauce). The rice was soft, fluffy, delicious. I ate there weekly when I worked blocks away, and we even had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. It closed over 10 years ago and I miss it.
