A QR code can be scanned by the camera without any prior setup. Sharing a note via Airdrop for example requires the other person to switch on Bluetooth possibly and allow the receiving from non contacts. Just a lot more friction until the sharing works

You’re right. You add all your apps via search to my app before you meet someone, all of the apps information is saved offline and I generate a QR code with the app logo on it to quickly share it on conferences or meetups. No need to search in the App Store anymore, just much quicker.
