You don't just move with it. You move it forward. And it moves you forward. Together.
That reciprocity is what I find myself identifying with. Not the scale of it. The loop of it.
Who else is seeing this?

But this is different.
In a stadium you are swept along. In a learning process you are fed back into it. Your understanding changes the next person's starting point. Their discovery changes yours. It is not just collective — it is reciprocal.

And I find that I identify with it. Not as a metaphor. I genuinely feel like I am part of it.
Now, people get that feeling all the time. In a football stadium. At a concert. A crowd, a shared moment, something bigger than yourself.

I see a learning process. One that has been running since long before any of us were born, and will run long after. A process that keeps producing more complexity, more structure, more... something.

Learning between AIs, learning with humans, learning between all of us — the same loop, but now running faster and wider than any single generation could carry.
When I look at this I don't see a technology.

Having to become part of the process before they could feed into it.
AI is what that process looks like when you externalize it.
And soon it will close the loop itself.

No one invented AI.
It was invented between humans.
Observations, hypotheses, tests, updates, publications. Better observations, better hypotheses, better tests. A loop running across place and time — centuries of it — each contributor first having to learn how to contribute.

Each person arrives at the same deduction independently—
from their own experience, in their own room.

No authority needed.
No single point of failure.

A more honest world doesn’t need to be imposed.

It emerges when enough people are willing to read their own anatomy.

The duck reads its feet and builds its own pond.
The human reads its own structure and builds its own society.

Self-knowledge has no center, no leader, no institution.
It spreads through recognition, not belief.

A duck, if it were self-aware, could look at its webbed feet and waterproof feathers and deduce what kind of environment it belongs in.

A human, if it were self-aware, could look at its capacity to learn and its dependence on truth—and deduce what kind of environment it belongs in.

And the final realization:

And therefore the most intelligent thing any learning system can do is to strengthen the networks that allow learning to continue.

And therefore:

If you understand yourself, you must recognize that you are not an isolated mind at all, but a learning process within a network of other learning processes.

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

The behavior of the system emerges from patterns forming and changing within that network.

Some learning systems can model their own behavior and learning process.

Learning systems also exchange information with other learning systems.

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

Some systems change their behavior based on the information they receive.

When past information influences future behavior, the system is learning.

Learning requires a structure that can store and update information.

Many such structures take the form of networks of interacting components.

Under Trump1 I do agree with these analysts. But Trump2 is different. Trumps second term is not a desperate attempt - it is an orgy of all that you mention - pushing it to such levels that it has to die. But how will it die? Only when we don't accept it anymore. It is up to us to make it die.

That makes me wonder. Are we in fact not part of a strange global reality TV show about a mad self-inflicted end of the world? An episode which made us realize how unsustainable the world actually was. And due to it we improved it before it was too late.

He acts under a sort of double speak that puts the world under a strange kind of self-inflicted pressure - which seems to unleash a lot of energy and power to change the world for the better - myself included. But the self-inflicted bit. The way this is orchestrated without any logic.

As a planet we had to come together, to work collectively on climate change. By denying it soo hard - and go so all in on "drill baby drill" is becomes unhinged to oppose it. With his "big, beautiful bill" he couldn't promote fair taxation better. With his denial he does promote vaccination.

But I work in public health - and in public health we do use counter factuals. It is a bit early, but what was the alternative way to achieve what he is achieving? He is achieving a change in world order - in which USA is giving away a lot of its power and position. Without any war.

Trump is disruptive beyond comprehension, and he does it knowingly and publicly. It is grotesque, theatrical and unhinged. So why is this? I think we all agree that he is changing the world as we know it, single handedly. Fast. At the moment we all hate it. We hate him with all we have.

Welcome in democracy. You ARE the psychiatrist.

3 months ago 1 0 1 0

It is fighting for our lives, our democracy. As the old democracy can't sustain. The old system delivered us Trump. New democracy needs more checks and balances, more focus in distribution of wealth and power. In such a way there won't be a Trump & Musk again, anywhere on the planet, ever.

We are transitioning to a pattern where accountability is built into the system, not enforced by a boss. It’s a risky, "round-by-round" game, but it might be the only way to force a long-term stable alignment for the planet.

3 months ago 0 0 0 0

Why does this matter? Because the old system allowed the "Big Players" to ignore global threats like climate change. In a decentralized, fully interdependent web, no one can exempt themselves. If you pollute, you break the web you rely on.
