I write next to recipes I try in each book so I can reference how I liked it and any changes I would make. It’s a treasure trove!

I had a writing teacher who *loathed* calling the first draft a "garbage" draft or a "vomit" draft. He thought it was damaging to your creative psyche to basically shit on your creative exploration. "You're playing, why would you call it vomit?!"
