Excited that InfoWars has switched sides in the infowars

The final Miss Marple should have been a big reveal that she was, in fact, a serial killer who had murdered dozens of people and pinned the death on others.
The odds are good, there's usually like a dozen people trapped at the dinner party and only one or two die horrible deaths.
Why not both?
How we long for the innocent days of black turtlenecks and hoodies.
You used to need a taxi license to operate a taxi, and a hotel license to open a hotel, too. But if you have an app all previous laws, regulations and ethical guidelines no longer apply and you're free to exploit loopholes until you are a trillionaire and nothing can be done.
I read a lot of dire climate change books about 15 years ago, and this one worry stuck with me more than everything else. As a Canadian, it was bizarre to travel 2,200km further north to Reykjavik (and 900km further north to London) only to find milder weather. All because of the gulf stream/AMOC.
Everyone will live in a penthouse and everyone will be above average and everyone will be taller than everyone else, what a future!

The Strait of Hormuz is open but may only be traversed by the Ship of Theseus.
A supersonic missile could travel the distance of a half marathon in 12 to 15 seconds. But nobody would make that comparison because machines are not humans, and the only difference with this robot thing is that it is vaguely human-shaped.
Haha sorry Shawn, I guess I'm that guy today.
Or even better, we can continue to support the small local shops and micro-chains. Tons of great coffee shops in Toronto and they're always busy. We need more!

Hmm, did this guy always write in this glib staccato ChatGPT style, or is it just here? I doubt I share many of his views but he's correct that "reality does not bend" and the Canadian Conservative party needs to grow up, and that Canadians have moved on.
Thanks for this, I don't have kids and was shocked when I saw that number, couldn't envision nearly half the kids not showing up for class (in my day we waited for college/university for that luxury)
Pitchers were all pretty good over the last couple days. But you won't win many MLB games scoring only 1 run. Frustrating.
JD Vance is lecturing the Pope on Catholicism and Pierre Poilievre is lecturing Mark Carney on economics and RFK Jr is lecturing scientists about vaccines and Donald Trump is lecturing the world on tariffs and Pete Hegseth is quoting Pulp Fiction and thinking it’s the Bible
I read this out, out of curiosity. It is a sort of alternate-universe hallucinatory fantasy about governing Liberal MPPs inexplicably crossing the floor to join the decimated NDP -- possibly due to bribes, or some other magic -- which will make voters suddenly realize they like the Conservatives.
This kneejerk opposition to anything and everything that could improve our transportation infrastructure just saddens me. I'm realizing I won't see Canada outgrow this sort of childish backwater thinking in my lifetime.
BLUESKY IS A WEBSITE THAT TURNS (post by jay.bsky.team claiming that bluesky is made with AI) INTO (picture of bluesky not working)
I was somewhat emotionally attached to "Corktown Station" but the new name will probably be more useful for visitors looking to visit the Distillery. But I also think maybe dropping "District" from the name would be cleaner, and possibly avoid trademark issues.
A transit map showing the Ontario Line infrastructure for Toronto's Metrolinx rapid transit network, displaying planned elevated, underground, and joint corridor sections connecting stations from Bloor to Don Valley.
Mayor Chow and Premier Ford are hanging out this morning to announce some Ontario Line updates, including the official station names. “Corktown” becomes “Distillery District.” “Riverside-Leslieville” becomes “Leslieville.” “King-Bathurst” becomes “King West.” "Queen-Spadina" becomes “Chinatown."

I get what Carney is trying to do, and most voters drive, but I wish the cuts could be more targeted to avoid rewarding owners of monster SUVs. They will see gas prices drop on Monday while transit fares remain the same. Big picture, reduced tax revenues eventually mean less funding for transit.
This week is the first at the Daily News since Heath Freeman's Alden Capital laid off our entire print production staff.
It's embarrassing to open the paper we work so hard for each day and find mistakes like this.
Is this the level of editing New Yorkers can count on going forward?
