One of my unfinished art pieces - a series of clay heads based on members of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, that I want to turn into hand puppets. I’ve been using bits of leftover clay to make these every now and then for about 15 years.

This was based on a photo I took in about 2011, intending to paint it at the time. I got as far as sketching the basics onto a board but I put it away, until last month.
It’s been an enjoyable challenge to get it to a point where I’m happy with it.

There are not many live bits of this old band of mine: The Auteurs. Forgotten by most, but this is how good we were. No bullshit - just intense as young bands should be.
Update: it isn’t finished - I’m not happy with the hand so there’s more to do!
