While The City of Tears, mood-wise, is not exactly the most original concept ever created (gloomy dark dead city with rain), the execution is so great and virtually flawless that the moment you reach it and the ambient sets in is probably in the Top 5 best moments in gaming for me.

Lies of P is so good I platinum’d it again today (first time was at release).
It really is the best non-FROM soulslike. Hella fun and challenging, maybe a bit too strict on parry timings, but still a good time. Very accessible after various patches and surprisingly faithful to its source material.
