I should be receiving the Dollars Trilogy UHD set on Monday, well in advance of the official release date (May 18)

LG BP55EB40 BD drive (with BU40N internals?) got restocked at some Dutch stores. This and the BU40N are going out of production, so I grabbed another from Coolblue as a backup (€46 after Christmas giftcard from work).

Flashed a UHD-friendly firmware to it.

2.5" drives are very compact, so there's not much leeway for warped discs.

Unless the previous owner was super clumsy, the warping is probably a disc manufacturing issue. The case is housed in a chipboard box, so I don't think normal storage will cause warping.

Bonus DVD got turned into a tree trunk by a 2.5" drive. The disc turned out to be warped.

Managed to rip the disc on an old 5.25" DVD drive. DVDs are resilient fuckers.

The BD disc on Predator is strangely the old mpeg-2 encoded disc from 2008, with the disc label of the The Predator (2018).
