The logo of the "Keep Android Open" campaign is an Android robot dressed as Darth Vader. Across the top it says "I AM ALTERING THE DEAL" in all caps, and below the robot it says "Pray I don't alter it further". This is a reference to how Android acquired a massive catalog of apps be making access open to the platform back in the day, and Google assuring it would remain open, as opposed to the iOS platform which was (and still is) very restricted. And, of course, Star Wars.

it should be possible, in fact using my t7-amethyst build i expect it should just work as normal, without any other setup or moving files etc. the recordings might show up as 'shadows of evil', but if you have the correct mods loaded, when you start theater mode it should load the correct map

I jump around a lot, currently using tuxedo os, kde plasma 6 with an nvidia gpu. it was easy to switch over to wayland so wasn't difficult to fix my problem once I knew what was causing it

i feel like linux is so close to being great for games, but obscure problems like this make it so hard to recommend

i thought games always seemed to feel worse to play under linux despite rendering at 144fps, but I found out x11 compositor doesn't properly handle multiple refresh rates, and so was only compositing at 60fps due to my secondary monitor

seems like a better way to avoid copyright infringement would be to not train on copyrighted materials 🤯

I submitted my first patch to Blender!

Adding the 'Attributes' field to 'Read Data' to make the behaviour here more understandable.

this means if you load a usd cache via `bpy.ops.cachefile.open` and add the mesh sequence cache modifier manually, you can never read custom attributes! Maybe fixing this can be my first contribution to blender 🤔

as far as i can tell, this flag is only ever set when loading a usd file via `bpy.ops.wm.usd_import` when `read_mesh_attributes=True`, and cannot be manually enabled on the modifier in any way.

I found a hidden flag in Blender's Mesh Sequence Cache modifier which prevents custom attributes being loaded from the cache: MOD_MESHSEQ_READ_ATTRIBUTES

how are you finding the accuracy of the stylus? i dual-boot ubuntu and windows on my surface and find windows has much more accurate strokes. Some lines end up quite wobbly on linux

'Set Geometry Name' node is nice but it would be so much more useful if we could also read geometry names back! Having some more nodes for simple string operations like pattern matching would be super cool too
