Some times you just gotta check their channels and tell yourself "no way this dude is composing hours worth of game covers in less than two weeks"

This has been really hard to digest. Today we learned of the passing of Zach Mason. A legend in vaporwave who went under the moniker, 회사AUTO. Zach was a truly kind soul and beautiful spirit, the kind you only come across once in a lifetime. You will be dearly missed.

The 회사AUTO news is incredibly sad. His performance at FF was one easily one of the most moving and emotional of the whole night. These are some film photos from that night. ❤️

The album that introduced me to 회사AUTO was "Neon Beige" which was released in 2014(!) on Plastic Response.

It was a double-length album with a diversity of concepts that felt a bit like a Vaporwave take on The Clash's "Sandinista".

I had talked with him about possibly doing an LP release.

회사AUTO aka Tech Noir made so much great music, from classic vaporwave to boundary pushing compositions. Zach kept the fire burning for vaporwave since it’s earliest days and his influence will not be forgotten. RIP and condolences to his family and friends ❤️‍🩹

We just got word that 회사AUTO (Zach Mason) passed away this past week, I want to send out love and support to his family in this time of hardship. A pillar of the vaporwave community, he and his artistic voice will be missed dearly.
