The theme is a question to myself: "Even if things look happy on the surface, is it truly real?"

The atmosphere shifts beautifully with the light. As you’ve probably noticed, I added a little "trick" to the design.

Coloring can change everything.

The composition is barely even decided... fingers crossed I'll finish in time!

A printing company is running a fun project, so I'm playing around with some designs in my spare time💡

This is one of my personal favorites among my Necoinu works.
They’re analog originals colored with pastels. To scan them, I used my sketchbook to hold the paper in place and just used the scanner lid itself as the background! 🤣 A bold move, but it really gives the piece its unique atmosphere.

It might just be the lack of highlights since they're underwater, but their gaze feels so mysterious.
It’s hard to tell if they’re alive or dead, and it feels as if they see right through everything.

That’s exactly why Necoinu’s eyes have no highlights!
